Frequently Asked Questions
How do you engage startups with your Fractional Marketing Leadership services?
I’ve been a one-man marketing band for various startups. I will leverage my two decades of startup experience to design lean, high-impact marketing strategies tailored to your long-term vision.
My approach is "strategy + sweat." I define the path to market and then dive into the trenches to execute the work.
How can your services help our startup scale?
Marketing is multiplied salesmanship. Whether someone visits your website, reads a press release, or downloads a one-pager, you need to
educate prospects about how you can solve their challenges, proactively answer objections, and use various proof elements to build trust.
By studying your in-house resources (sales calls, sales collateral, etc), conducting interviews with founders, and leveraging my experience, I will refine your product positioning by thinking like your prospects.
I will build a library of strategic content (e.g., blogs, case studies, deep-dive white papers, etc.) that not only generates inbound leads but also moves people down your sales funnel in a cost-effective way.
What does a content marketing engagement look like?
My job is to move the needle for your company, so I like to conduct
2 - 3 interviews with various subject matter experts.
I will also request all marketing and sales materials, review them, and perform additional background research.
After that, I will write my copy and deliver a first draft. I provide 3 rounds of edits for every project.
Note: Most projects I deliver typically require one or two rounds of small edits.
Do you outsource your work or use ChatGPT?
I do not outsource my work. Every piece of content I create is hand-crafted and based upon a propriety checklist of copywriting elements. This is why I keep things in-house.
What are your timelines for content marketing projects or strategies?
I tell everyone starting off that my turnaround time is 1 - 3 weeks. I normally return my projects earlier, depending on my work volume.
What is your pricing model?
Based on our conversation, I’ll create a proposal for 4 projects. The first project, I like to refer to as a paid “proof of concept.” If we’re both happy with how things went, then we’ll move forward with the remaining projects.
To get an estimate, please submit a request using my contact form.
How can we pay you?
My customers pay me via Gusto, Bill.com, or ACH. I do not accept credit cards.
What are your payment terms?
All invoices are due in 10 days. If your company pays invoices in net 30 days, I will have to factor this into my pricing.
